KBO H magnitudes (postscript table) 2005
I have written some Perl scripts to re-arrange the info from several IAU files on KBOs/Centaurs into a form that is more useful to observers planning observing runs (grouped into files by object type (dynamical class), and **SORTED BY MAGNITUDE** within each group). To keep the files to 80 columns for easy viewing and printing, most values were truncated, but the numbers should be good enough for helping decide which objects to include in ones observing list.
I am putting these on the Web mostly so that I will be able to access them from anywhere. If anyone else finds them of use, you are free to use them.
Dynamical classes: "cen" = Centaurs ; "plu" = Plutinos ; "cub" = Cubewanos (classical) ; "res" = resonant ; "SDO" = scattered disk objects ; "bla" = blank - no dynamical class listed on MPEC.
